Overview

Reporting to the Vice President of Internal Marketing, the Director will collaborate with senior management and other vital contributors to nurture a workplace culture rich in participation, collaboration, and creativity. Key Responsibilities
  • Elevate and drive participation in Zelis' signature internal programs, strategies, and campaigns, effectively communicating the company's purpose, values, and accomplishments to the workforce.
  • Ensure cohesive and uniform dissemination of messages and initiatives related to associate programs and community engagement throughout the company.
  • Mentor and cultivate a high-performing team, propelling forward-thinking concepts that have a positive influence on Zelis' organizational culture.
  • Remain informed of industry best practices, current trends, and advancements in GenAI/AI technology, integrating these insights into Zelis' associate programs and community outreach efforts.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Enhance the Zelis associate engagement strategy by supervising the conceptualization and promotion of marketing-driven events that unite employees (both virtually and in-person) and bolster engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Oversee the strategic direction of the Zelis Corporate Giving Program, support platform administration (YourCause), develop and help execute next-level philanthropic and volunteer initiatives, partnerships, and events that underscore Zelis' commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
  • Direct the Internal Marketing team's operations, including the use of Wrike for project management, budget oversight, reporting, vendor relations, and procedural enhancements.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Marketing to develop comprehensive employer branding materials, videos, and tools that attract exceptional talent.
  • Work in tandem with the Director of Internal Communications to manage deadlines, communication strategies, channels, and guidelines, ensuring a positive associate experience.
  • Compile reports and analyze data to assess the success and impact of associate/community initiatives, offering strategic recommendations for refinement.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in communications, CSR, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in internal communications, corporate philanthropy, or a similar area.
  • A demonstrated history of formulating and implementing effective internal marketing, corporate philanthropy, and communication strategies that enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience, including mentoring, coaching, and advancing high-performing team members, with an emphasis on inclusivity, adaptability, and cross-functional connectivity.
  • Exceptional leadership, managerial, and interpersonal abilities, capable of inspiring and motivating others.
  • Proactive thinking skills, with a knack for autonomously updating leadership on project progress, foreseeing potential challenges, and swiftly addressing them.
  • Outstanding communication prowess, both orally and in writing, with a talent for crafting and conveying clear, persuasive, and consistent narratives to varied audiences and during company-wide webinars.
  • A creative, innovative, and strategic thinker, adept at thinking outside conventional boundaries to generate fresh ideas and solutions.
  • Meticulous, organized, and driven by results, with the capacity to juggle numerous projects and priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, project management applications, and other pertinent software.
  • Skilled in devising video storyboards, collaborating with videographers, and executing basic video edits.
  • Availability to travel domestically, and potentially to India, at least once every quarter.
