This position is fully onsite at our Le Mars, Iowa branch. Job Purpose:

The primary role of the Credit Analyst is to provide administrative loan support for Commercial/Ag Lenders. In addition, this position will provide financial services to Commercial/Ag/Consumer clients. This position will perform assigned duties in accordance with Midstates Bank's Core Values and will adhere to Quality Service Standards. Essential Functions: - Prepare financial analysis through Web Equity software program on Ag/Commercial clients and make recommendations to lenders. This will include preparing credit memorandum write-ups on loan credits to be presented to loan committees. - Have a full understanding of the Loan Policy and prepare credit memorandum write-ups in accordance with Loan Policy. - Provide financial services to Ag/Commercial clients with lending authority determined by Branch Manager. Advising clients, where possible, concerning business management and financial matters. - Support business development efforts including joint sales calls with loan officers. - Support collection efforts on trouble loans including inspections of properties, client consultations, loan modifications, etc. - Assist Loan Administrator performing their function when necessary to ensure files are complete, documentation is accurate, and loan closing happen as scheduled. - Participate in civic activities to promote growth and development of the community and a positive image for the bank. - Other duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications:

Strong communication and analytical skills; strong computer skills including Web Equity, spreadsheets and word processing; good interpersonal skills and team orientation. Education:

2-Year College Degree in Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent combination of coursework and work experience. Experience:

Accounting or bookkeeping experience in formation of financial statements and cash flows. Previous bank experience preferred.
