Position Overview:


The Lead Financial Analyst plays a crucial role within our finance department, tasked with delivering precise, timely, and trustworthy financial insights in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves conducting thorough research, analysis, and reconciliation of accounts while proactively addressing discrepancies to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the work of junior analysts and ensure the accuracy of their financial entries.
Identify and mitigate risks by promptly investigating variances and guiding team members through resolution processes.
Review and validate financial reports before they are submitted for management review.
Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and precise journal entries and reconciliations.
Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations with a comprehensive understanding of account balances.
Prepare and present monthly financial results, highlighting variances to the finance leadership team.
Compile accurate compliance reviews and audit requests, adhering to strict deadlines.

Ensure all financial data complies with GAAP, regulatory standards, and internal policies.

Act as a liaison with various departments and external stakeholders regarding financial information.
Communicate effectively with all levels of management within the organization.
Analyze and document departmental processes, recommending enhancements as necessary.
Collaborate on special projects as required within and beyond the finance team.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with company policies.

Exhibit strong communication skills across various platforms, and demonstrate the ability to work both collaboratively and independently to meet daily objectives.

Manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Demonstrate flexibility, a customer-centric approach, and a proactive mindset.

Comfortable working remotely with a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, encompassing both staff and senior roles.
Proficient in developing comprehensive documentation and conveying financial information clearly.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose alternative solutions.
Familiarity with public accounting principles and practices.
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and other financial software.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Financial software.
Background in Credit Card Processing or the Bankcard Industry.
CPA Certification.
Proficiency in Access.
Experience with Big 4 accounting firms.
