What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of tax experience
  • Provisions experience with consolidated federal returns
  • Public Accounting experience, along with private experience

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead and manage the tax provision process, including gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing tax calculations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of all tax-related schedules, work papers, and disclosures for state and federal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate the impact of such changes on our organization's tax provision and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as accounting, finance, and legal, to gather necessary information for tax provision and to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities, potential risks, and optimize our organization's tax position.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities, ensuring compliance with tax audits and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement tax policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the tax function.
  • Participate in strategic tax planning initiatives and provide insights on the potential tax implications of business decisions.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned
