What You’ll Do
The AI Systems group pursues cutting edge research and development for design, development and optimization of AI models and their optimization for neural processors.
You will pursu e cutting edge research and development for the optimization of AI models and their acceleration for neural processors.
You should have a solid knowledge and understanding of AI methods for applications, such as generative AI, large language models, computer vision, image and video processing, speech recognition, and speech enhancement.
Location:
Hybrid, working onsite at our San Diego or San Jose office 3days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time
Reports to:
Senior Principal Engineer
Research and develop artificial intelligence systems.
Optimize neural networks and AI algorithms for scalable AI processors
Write computer software to develop algorithms and simulate system performance.
Efficient deployment of large models, by techniques such as quantization, compression, pruning, distillation, model transformations and compilations.
Research and develop novel algorithms for generative AI, speech, and vision processing
Coordinates with other engineers and technical experts in developing machine learning algorithms to learn information from the collected data.
Prepare presentations, technical reports and patent applications that reflect the results.
What You Bring
Bachelors with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 3+ years or PhD with 0 years in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred.
Solid understanding of AI applications such as generative AI, LLMs, Computer vision, and speech processing.
C/C++, Python, and MATLAB coding skills, popular deep learning frameworks.
Expertise in signal processing, AI systems, and learning algorithms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Excellence in writing technical reports and high-quality publications.
You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.
