Monitoring and analysing the electrical systems, preparing technical evaluations, developing maintenance strategies and corrective action plans, and contributing to the creation of design change documentation. The role involves addressing a wide range of Electrical Power and I&C issues at both the component and system levels. Candidates should possess familiarity with nuclear power plant design, specifically the Electrical Distribution System and/or the Instrumentation and Control Systems. Technical project management responsibilities may include scoping, scheduling, budget development, cost tracking, and oversight of complex projects to meet cost and time objectives. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience: Systems Engineer II : 2-3+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated competencies in the applicable discipline. Systems Engineer III:

5+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated competencies in the applicable discipline.

Knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and practices. Ability to design systems, components, or processes to meet specified needs for broadly-defined engineering problems. Effective oral, written, and graphical communication skills, including technical writing. Conduct standard tests, measurements, and experiments, and analyse and interpret the results to improve processes. Organizational and project management skills. Proficient personal computer skills, including knowledge of applicable software programs. To qualify as a Systems Engineer, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

4-year Engineering Technology degree or 4-year degree in Engineering (not ABET-accredited). 4-year degree in Physics, Math, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Engineering, or another technical-related discipline. 4-year non-technical degree and post-graduate degree in Engineering Technology or Engineering (not ABET-accredited). Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience accepted in lieu of the preferred degree.
