Position Title:

Field Technical Engineer

Role Overview:
As a Field Technical Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and resolve issues across various systems, including access control systems, locking mechanisms, airflow systems, lighting controls, HVAC systems, and plumbing infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance and warranty service
- Provide emergency support and service
- Review and oversee system installations
- Manage system commissioning processes

This position requires extensive travel, with approximately 75-85% of your time dedicated to visiting client locations, which may include prestigious institutions and pharmaceutical organizations.

While on assignments, you will receive a per diem to cover hotel and meal expenses, although initial costs will need to be covered upfront. A company vehicle will be supplied for your use.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in troubleshooting access control systems
- Experience in HVAC maintenance
- Knowledge of lighting control systems
- Plumbing maintenance expertise
- Ability to execute preventative maintenance
- Capability to provide warranty services
- Experience in emergency support

Work Environment:
This role is primarily field-based and involves servicing mainly animal research laboratories. You will be expected to travel frequently, up to 85% of the time, and may occasionally work over weekends. A company vehicle will be provided for your convenience.
