The Global Marketplace Supply Chain Finance team is responsible for the management of Nike’s global logistics costs—identifying key insights, delivering clear reporting, and influencing business partners to improve decision-making. As a business-facing supporting function, we are the connective tissue between the Supply Chain and Finance organizations. We act as a Supply Chain representative within Finance, and also as a Finance representative within Supply Chain. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We're looking for a Senior Finance Analyst who will help to manage Inbound Freight costs, partnering closely with the Global Transportation and Geo Finance teams to deliver both in-year and long-range Inbound Freight financial forecasting To be successful in this role, the candidate needs to be a self-starter with strong analytical skills who can partner cross-functionally to deliver results. They will need to be able to learn complex financial and operational dynamics, and then synthesize into clear insights for both Finance and Supply Chain leadership audiences. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON In partnership with our Global Transportation team, you will help to monitor international macroeconomic conditions and the constantly evolving ocean freight market You will be responsible for translating these dynamics into financial implications for Nike—the magnitude, timing, and likelihood of any impact—and guiding Geo financial plans accordingly. You will also be a key contributor to our broader team’s logistics cost management efforts. You will support teammates with visualizing data, ensuring a clear narrative summary, producing ad hoc analysis, and developing business cases for key Supply Chain investments. WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH You will report directly to the Director, Global Supply Chain Finance, and work closely with both Finance and cross-functional partners in the Supply Chain organization. Finance partners include peers within Supply Chain Finance (both Geo and Global) as well as central teams such as Global Rev/Margin. Cross-functional partners include Global Transportation, Supply & Inventory Planning, and other Supply Chain Operations teams. WHAT YOU BRING Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or Combination of relevant education, experience, and training Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Proven ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis, preferably financial models Preferred: 3-5 years' experience in Finance, Strategy, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field Proven experience in effectively supporting and working with senior leadership Experience working with large databases and related systems (SQL proficiency is a plus)
