WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The North America Supply Chain is a powerful catalyst for Nike's growth. The North America Supply Chain Finance team provides the financial partnership and communication to ensure senior leaders have the best information with which to make decisions across warehousing and transportation operations.

We're looking for a Lead, Finance Supply Chain, North America -Transportation with strong analytical, business partnership, and communication skills who will manage consolidation and reporting of inbound and outbound freight costs. This Lead will work cross-functionally with North America (NA) Transportation operations teams as a trusted business partner to inform business decisions and financial plans.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you will own the in-year and long-range planning processes and outcomes for North America (NA) transportation costs related to inbound freight (ocean, air, accessorials) and outbound freight (transportation from DC to end-point) for Nike product flowing within the North America Supply Chain. You will work with Global Procurement and NA Transportation to understand the impacts of contractual transportation agreements on logistic costs as well as provide financial acumen to those teams as needed. You will work with the Global Supply Chain Finance team to ensure that correct messaging and storytelling is represented throughout the annual financial planning and reporting gates (CSR, AOP, Budget, Forecast, Quarterly Earnings Prep).

You will have access to 3rd party databases that will allow you to track and summarily report transactional level detail. You will also support North America Business Planning and Marketplace Finance in their monthly close processes from a transportation lens.

You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement through collaboration with our Global Supply Chain Finance team and business partners to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of processes and reporting.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Reporting directly to the Director, NA Supply Chain Finance, the Lead will partner closely with a Senior Finance Analyst to successfully execute critical monthly and quarterly close activities. Additionally, this person will work closely with NA Transportation operations team members, Procurement, and Global Supply Chain Finance. Other partners include NA Finance teams (e.g. Business Planning, Marketplace Finance).

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant work experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Controlling/Audit, Inventory Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of relevant education, skills and experiences.
  • Proficiency with Excel, SAP ERP, Anaplan, Tableau, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to develop high-profile, influential, and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and managing multiple, competing priorities and requests, while maintaining high standards for quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience, including meeting facilitation and presentations
