Works on specific situations on the belt line. Loads food trays onto trucks. Delivers, serves and picks up residents trays after residents have eaten. Scrapes trays from lowerators. Works in dish room area, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen utensils. Prepares food for desserts, nourishments, snacks and special functions. Monitors sanitation in main kitchen.Sweep, mop, sanitize floors and cleans counter tops Assigned to special cleaning in areas of kitchen when needed. Discusses daily menu with Food Service Supervisor each morning. Attends departmental meetings and in-service training when scheduled. Is part of Q.A. data collection Helps prepare annual inventory each June with Assistant Director of Food Service. May be assigned to other areas in main kitchen if necessary. Helps prepare QA and collects data. Over sees catering functions within Sea View Hospital. Helps maintain record keeping of all areas of Food Service Department. Performs special assignments when directed by Food Service Director.
