TEMP ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE AIDE (DAY SHIFT) AT NYC HEALTHCARE FIRM
Pay Rate is $17.75 to $19.75 per hour | Temp to Possible Permanent | MUST be Fully Vaccinated
Position is Working On-site in the Upper 60's on Manhattan's Upper East Side

Top NYC Hospital looking for an Environmental Service Aide (ESA) to join its Team on a Temporary to Possible Permanent Basis. In this role, she/he will follow procedures and safety guidelines as outlined in the ESA Manual including, but not limited to removal of general, infectious waste and soiled linen; proper mixture, storage, and use of chemicals; usage of cardboard bailer and trash compactor; and complete additional projects or tasks as assigned by management.

The ESA Department is very important to patient care and the organization as a whole. Incredible organization where you feel as though you are "giving back". Role is working on-site on Manhattan's Upper East Side in the Upper 60's with easy access to public transportation. MUST be Fully COVID and Flu Vaccinated. Full-time (37.5-hrs weekly); Mon-Fri with Weekend Rotation and possibly Holidays; 8am-4pm. Three (3) Month Assignment with Possibility to Extend or Go Permanent.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Able to use floor cleaning equipment.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend and push items.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 30-lbs.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Capable of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Able to hold yourself and others accountable to accomplish goals and live up to commitments.
  • Effective communicator, able to identify how to reach different audiences and communicate based on that understanding.
  • Able to use a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insights into personal strengths and weaknesses.
  • Right motivations and eagerness to learn, track record of reliability, positive in your nature, and phenomenal teammate.
  • Good decision-maker, with proven success in making timely decisions.
