About the Team/Role:
The Director, Small Business Marketing will report into the VP, Revenue Marketing and is a crucial role supporting and enabling the entire Marketing Organization. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of our software solutions within the small business sector.

How you'll make an impact:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a results-driven marketing strategy tailored specifically for small businesses, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.
Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional channels.
Brand Positioning: Ensure a strong and consistent brand presence in the small business market, effectively communicating the value proposition of our software solutions.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within the small business segment.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Customer Success, to align marketing efforts with business objectives and customer feedback.
Content Development: Lead the creation of compelling and targeted marketing collateral, including website content, blog posts, whitepapers, and case studies.
Lead Generation: Drive high-quality lead generation initiatives to support the sales pipeline, collaborating with the sales team to ensure effective conversion strategies.
Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights for continuous improvement.
Fuel Card Applications:

Lead initiatives to drive fuel card applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the application process.
Implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote fuel card benefits and increase application rates.

Experience you'll bring:
Credit Card Marketing:

Proven experience in credit card marketing, with a track record of successful campaigns and customer acquisition designed to drive high volume of applications.

E-commerce Marketing:

Demonstrated expertise in e-commerce marketing, understanding the nuances of online customer behavior and effective digital conversion strategies.

Small Business Marketing:

Extensive experience in small business marketing, including a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this sector.

Demand Generation:

Strong background in demand generation, including the ability to create and execute marketing programs that drive customer interest, engagement and increased pipeline.

Marketing Pipeline Management:

Experience in managing marketing pipelines, from lead generation to conversion, with a focus on optimizing conversion rates and overall efficiency.

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within small business marketing, preferably in the software or technology industry.
Strong understanding of employee benefits, payment solutions, and fleet management is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Proficient in marketing analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
