POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing a marketing strategy, supervising the marketing and strategy team, and client account management within assigned hospital(s). Develops elaborate business development plans, creates quarterly and annual strategic plans, and is responsible for the design/implementation of processes to support business growth through customer and market definition. As a field-based position, is responsible for building and maintaining inpatient and outpatient referrals and admissions, while complying with state and CMS rules and regulations across multiple levels of care. Responsible for all marketing tracking systems, the intake process, payor relationships, and community education. Working closely with the assigned hospital(s) management and clinical team, maintains positive and effective working relationships, both internally and in the community.


POSITION SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises the following positions: Clinical Liaisons, Business Development Liaisons, and Patient Assessment Coordinators.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field required, Masters preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing/leadership in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong background in client services and relationship management required.
  • Supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.


JOB FUNCTION:

Facilitates growth, sales, and marketing strategy. Works towards objectives and strategies for revenue generation and manages referrals and admissions to exceed revenue goals. Identifies education needs and implements measures to increase market share by conducting one-on-one calls, CEU and CME programs, establishment and support of a tour team, involvement in support/community groups, and work with professional associations.


Evaluates and maintains staffing to meet all performance standards. Monitors competitors’ activity, conducts market research, and carries out analytical tasks. Manages overall strategy and personal marketing/sales calls, to include: JV partners, health plans, physicians, C-Suites, Directors of Case Management in referring hospitals, and other stakeholders. Builds and maintains high-level contacts with current and prospective customers and other business/project partners. Drives prospects, identifies new customers and markets, develops approaches to the market, and prepares proposals.
