Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure effective communication and payment processes. Address and resolve customer queries and disputes related to credit and collections. Prepare and present regular reporting on credit and collections performance. Analyze trends and identify areas for improvement in credit and collections processes. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial operations. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding credit and collections. Implement risk management strategies to protect the company's financial interests. Make outcalls with credit managers and salesmen on an as needed basis. Other obligations as assigned. Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience in credit and collections management, preferably within the electrical supply industry. Proven experience managing collections for customers in the commercial/industrial/EPC/OEM markets. Experience overseeing and developing a team of credit managers. Strong understanding of credit and collections principles and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Other degrees or relevant experience will be considered as well. Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
