We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Operations Manager to join our corporate team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our operations team, which supports all HBH concepts with everything from budgets to technical support. We are seeking a candidate who has impeccable critical thinking skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to "get to the yes" in a way that supports both the objectives of the employees and of the business. The Operations Manager will be responsible for participating in and facilitating the day-to-day operations of jaja, Edda, Truss and Pioneer, with a particular emphasis on financial analysis, budget implementation and general operational support. This candidate will act as a connector between corporate and store-level operations and must be flexible and personable as they will interact with every member of the HBH and INTRO teams.Responsibilities: Financial Analysis and Adjustment: Work alongside the COO to gain an intimate understanding of company-wide financials and KPIs. Conduct weekly financial analysis to assess operational performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for budget adherence for each restaurant team. Act as liaison between leadership and restaurant teams during monthly budget reviews. Support accounting team on items such as monthly inventory, R365 item management, food & beverage cost control. Managing integrity and completion of financial reporting for each location including but not limited to conducting cost efficiency audits and making recommendations for improvement. Support restaurant and leadership teams with various financial tasks such as Daily Sales Reports, weekly deposits, tip management.General Operations: Become familiar with restaurant staff, training procedures, steps of service and tech (Toast, Resy, Ring etc.) to the extent that occasional floor coverage is possible. Perform regular audits of company-wide materials (training documents, steps of service, Google Drive organization, HR & onboarding materials). Assist in asset creation using Canva and Adobe when necessary. Connect goals set by leadership with HBH Managers to understand their operational needs and ensure tools and training are provided and accurate.Ensure adherence to company and location-specific SOPs. R&M Oversight: Assist the Director of Restaurant Operations in managing the coordination of maintenance and repairs to ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and operational at all times. Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, respond to maintenance requests promptly, and oversee repairs and renovations as needed while working within a set budget. Respond to and maintain our internal R&M system, MaintainX, working with the Director of Restaurant Operations for approvals. Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, hospitality operations heavily weightedStrong leadership and interpersonal skills.Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and skills.Experience executing complex projects.Experience with light accounting is a plus. Solid understanding of Excel and all MS Office programs.Experience with Canva and Adobe is a plus.Experience with Restaurant365 or other restaurant management software is a plus.Harbor Bay Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
