This role presents a distinctive opportunity to influence the patient experience, collaborating with our dental specialists, as well as Ritual's product and technology teams. ResponsibilitiesThe Patient Advocate is primarily responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience, from check in to check out and beyond. Responsibilities include:Greeting patients and welcoming them to Ritual DentalAppointment scheduling & managementVerifying patient insurance eligibilityCollecting payments & co paysCommunicating with patients via phone, email or via Ritual's messaging platformMaintaining a safe, clean and well organized front desk and patient waiting areaProviding detailed descriptions of dental treatments, services, and retail products provided at Ritual DentalPresent treatment plans to patients and discuss financial responsibilityAnswering patients' questions & empower with knowledgeQualifications & SkillsMust Have2 or more years experience working in a Dental PracticeExcellent verbal & written communication skillsStrong computer literacy Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environmentExperience working with patient booking software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc)Can demonstrate knowledge of common dental proceduresExperience with insurance eligibility and ADA codesFlexibility to work early mornings, evenings and some SaturdaysNice to HaveExperience working in a tech enabled companyExperience working in a multi-specialty practicePay, Perks & Benefits at RitualThe pay range for this position is $20-25/hour.Individual compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience and applicable laws.
