Human Resources Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Bethlehem, GA. The HR Coordinator will provide essential support in the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and address any related issues.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.
- Assist with audits and other HR-related compliance activities.

Training and Development:
-Coordinate training sessions and seminars to support employee development.
- Maintain training records and track employee progress.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs.

HR Administrative Support:
- Prepare and update employee records and maintain the HR database.
- Handle HR documentation and correspondence, ensuring all files are maintained and up-to-date.
- Assist with the implementation and management of HR projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a combination of experience and education.
- 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday.
- Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
- Office environment with standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Occasional light lifting of files and materials.
