Transaction Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review loan files for submission to operations, including ordering necessary documentation such as hazard insurance, appraisals, and title work, as well as gathering any additional supporting documents.
- Verify documents for accuracy and completeness, proactively following up to request any outstanding information.
- Develop a thorough understanding of conventional, FHA, and VA underwriting requirements and guidelines to facilitate effective processing.
- Stay informed about industry changes and loan product updates issued by government agencies, demonstrating resourcefulness and initiative.
- Support Mortgage Consultants in managing communication and pipeline processes, ensuring any additional documentation required by operations is obtained promptly.
- Coordinate closing processes by liaising with closing agents and ensuring a smooth transition.
- Oversee the coordination of Preclosing Closing Disclosures, including reviewing final Closing Disclosures with borrowers.
- Become proficient in using Goldmine (CRM) to assist Mortgage Consultants with basic tasks and manage customer relationships effectively.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to meet team objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines.
- A quick learner with a willingness to seek professional growth and development.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Effective communication skills, with an emphasis on maintaining rapport with all team members.
