HR Administrative Assistant

What you'll do as an HR Administrative Assistant:
- Administrative Support: Maintain employee records, manage HR documents (including employment records and onboarding paperwork), and update internal databases.
- First Point of Contact: Address HR-related queries from employees and external partners promptly and professionally.
- HR Compliance: Ensure all HR activities conform to labor laws and internal policies.
- Support HR Leaders: Provide administrative support to two HR Leaders, one of whom is remotely-based.
- New Hire Processes: Verify new hire information, ensure compliance with SOX procedures, and coordinate new hire orientation.
- Employee Records Management: Organize, maintain, and file employee records and manage data in HR systems.
- Communication: Send out notifications regarding employee changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, promotions).
- Documentation: Create paperwork for terminations, severance packages, acquisitions, and immigration visas.
- Reports and Filing: Prepare HR reports, maintain filing systems, and liaise with SOX Auditors as needed.
- HR Projects: Participate in HR projects and initiatives, including process improvements and company events coordination.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an administrative role, preferably with HR support experience.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Management, or equivalent experience. SHRM certification is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Clear written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
- Adaptability: Ability to switch gears quickly and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to Detail: Organized, accurate, and thorough, with the ability to monitor work for quality.
- Dependability: Reliable and able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and improve performance through feedback.
