What you need to know about this position:Columbus Regional Health General Surgery (CRHGS) is a general surgery and weight loss institute practice with seven board certified surgeons, three nurse practitioners and one physician assistant. CRHGS is a regional leader in surgery procedures including breast surgery and high risk breast treatment, bariatric, hernia, laparoscopic and gastroenterology surgery. The office is located in Medical Office Building South, on Columbus Regional Health's main campus.Responsible for clinical guidance, education, coordinator of multidisciplinary care and oversight for patients in the Weight Loss program (surgical and non-surgical).Collaborates with providers, patients, families, teammates and ASMBS to ensure positive results are accomplished. Works to identify and eliminate barriers to care by guiding, educating and navigating patients to receive the best healthcare results. Responsible for building professional relationships with the patient and their families, local and regional healthcare providers and vendors to ensure smooth transitions and timely access to care for patients.The base hourly rate for this position is $35.12. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.This position will require you to work 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, 40 weekly hours. This position is partial remote eligible.What is required for this position:Education and/or ExperienceBachelor of Nursing (BSN) required.Clinical bariatric or weight loss experience preferred.Certifications, Licenses, RegistrationsIndiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.Certified Bariatric Nurse (CBN) preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
