Job Description

Responsibilities

The Mail Room Clerk would be responsible for coordination of the mail room where the duties would include:
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes all incoming and outgoing mail; receives, sends, and distributes packages, and courier deliveries and pick-ups; prepares outgoing mail as needed
  • Assists with processing returned mail; assists with identifying proper recipient for unclaimed mail and other deliveries
  • Collects, sorts, prepares and scans documents; labels and enters documents into the computer system; conducts post-scanning quality assurance to ensure complete, accurate, and of a high quality; files and forwards documents for recycling and/or shredding
  • File original records and other paperwork; retrieve records and files upon request
  • Print and Scan checks for deposit for Escrow and Commission teams
  • Maintains Excel spreadsheets to track incoming/outgoing mail and UPS invoicing
  • Maintain the relationship and accounts with pickup and delivery couriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.)
  • May handle stockroom duties including ordering and maintaining record of inventory and incoming packages. May maintain neat and orderly supply/stockroom. May be responsible for ordering supplies
  • Replaces toner in printers and copiers
  • Maintains relationships with all office equipment vendors and may manage all service requests and agreements Secure and proper disposal of confidential documents
  • Perform other duties as needed including coverage for other business service functions at the site
  • Practice clean desk policy (keeping items locked and secure) within a secure environment
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, TEAMS and Excel
  • Ability to learn new software programs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail required
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Provide premiere service to clients with a positive attitude
