JOB SUMMARY FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR:

  • We are seeking a results-driven training and communications lead to develop and facilitate a training curriculum and drive change awareness for a specific project.
  • You will be collaborating with procedural and functional experts to determine training goals, designing, planning, and implementing effective training curriculums., and deploying measurement and feedback tools. Additionally, creating and executing a customized communications plan spanning the full project duration. To ensure success as a training and communication lead, you should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of training methods leveraging e-learning tools, extensive experience as a training and communications consultant in a related industry, and experience leading a segment of an implementation project. An accomplished lead will be someone whose expertise in teaching, learning, and communicating enables optimized skills acquisition and project awareness.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR:

  • Identify the L&D needs for the project; Provide input on how L&D should be organized for the project and their curricula
  • Collaborating with Team Leads and SMEs to:
  • Design courses/ programs leveraging e-learning tools (i.e., Rise), blended and ILT;
  • Develop broader programs and role-based curricula to meet learners at all levels;
  • Create course materials and teaching aids that support content delivery and skills assessments.
  • Manage external vendors to design or deliver high quality products/programs
  • Responding to trainee questions and adjusting course content as required.
  • Facilitating the delivery of technology-based and multimedia-centered teaching.
  • Tracking training outcomes and ensuring alignment to business objectives.
  • Deploying feedback tools to assess the effectiveness of the curriculum.
  • Developing performance evaluation feedback channels.
  • Tracks learning session’s feedback for relevance and impact.
  • Supports transition to production by observing, measuring and monitoring as needed
  • Support the Change Management Lead and works closely with the Process Owners and stakeholders
  • Design advanced metrics for programs or courses to measure learning outcomes; take actions if metrics indicate issues

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR:

  • Bachelors degree in instructional design, education, communications, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of curriculum design, instructional methods, and training techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in technology-based learning management systems (LMS) at least 5+ years.
  • Proven track records of planning, organizing, creating, and executing communication plans and training courses/curricula for 300+ participants
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint
  • Advantageous, experience in Agile methodology and software (i.e., Jira/Azure DevOps) at least 5+ years
  • Advantageous, experience in Deposit Banking / Teller Software Delivery (i.e., FIS D1 Teller)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR:

  • Experience Level: 7+ years related to Training and Development and Communication programming/projects
  • Contract-5-Months initially, potential to extend based on performance
  • Location: Chicago, IL 60604
  • Hybrid Schedule: Onsite 3 days a week, as needed Anchor days: Tuesdays +2 flex Work hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
