**International Retail Marketing Director**

at TULA Skincare New York TULA Skincare is looking for an experienced International Marketing Director to help build and market our rapidly growing clean & effective skincare brand, which offers innovative products powered by probiotic extracts and superfoods in the international market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record working with retailers/distributors in international markets in beauty, experience leading teams to develop best-in-class omni campaigns & high-performing content, and a deep passion for building happy, effective teams. This Director will work closely with the VP of International, building out additional functional teams/capabilities over time.

This role is on the Brand team, reporting directly to the VP of Brand and dotted line to the VP of International. TULA headquarters are based in New York City, but we are working remotely for the time being

**Key Responsibilities**

* Partner with Brand team, ensuring TULA Skincare is a differentiated, top of mind brand at the intersection of beauty & wellness that inspires confidence in international markets

* Partner with Brand team, delivering vision & lead team to evolve all brand pillars, brand storytelling & brand positioning within larger beauty, self-care & wellness industries in international markets

* Ensure a deep, clear understanding of TULAs core customer internationally & drive strategies for reaching incremental customer segments while growing core base

* Provide strategic guidance and support to international retailers and distributors for executing global marketing plans and ensure the local adaptation is on brand

* Own strategic vision for all 360 omni strategic campaigns, leveraging data, trends in international markets and ensure the execution in each individual market is in line with global strategies

* Liaise with Senior Director of Brand Marketing and the VP of International as well as work closely with retailers and distributors to bring the brand to life by providing best practice, integrating long-term strategic vision into the monthly marketing calendar, developing creative ideas/ themes for quarterly campaigns, new launches & merchandising, in-store activations and other key brand moments by market

* Partner with VP of International to lead international go-to-market strategies, tactics & process for new product launches & core product portfolio to increase brand awareness, drive new customer acquisition, drive repeat purchase and hit aggressive revenue growth targets

* Partner with Senior Director of Brand Marketing to develop clear, effective go-to-market toolkits for international markets to execute easily & on-brand within their unique footprints

* Work closely with international retailers and distributors to understand their individual needs and develop related programs to support the growth

* Ensure that the brand, products & marketing tactics are hyper-relevant to our customers & drive demand across all channels - digital & in-store, in the international markets. Partner closely with Creative Director to bring campaigns to life visually

* Partner with Senior Director of Brand Marketing to lead global marketing efforts as we scale the brand internationally, with a consumer-first approach & partnership with local teams & the VP of International to maintain core brand DNA while localizing as needed to ensure relevance to the consumer and channel strategy

* Monitor competitors marketing activities, pricing and evaluate the effectiveness of each launch by market and provide feedback to Brand Marketing and International teams

* Ensure strong partnership and processes with International, Innovation / Product Development, PR, Creative, Retail, Ecommerce, Performance / Growth Marketing, Demand Planning teams

* Champion the TULA culture and core values, including coaching and developing a growing team of 12 and counting

* Serve as thought partner to the VP of Brand and the VP of International, with ability to collaboratively make decisions & build a forever brand

**Qualifications**

* 10+ years of experience in beauty brand- trade marketing/international marketing

* Prior experience working with international markets is required

* Proven track record leading successful beauty campaigns, skincare a plus

* Team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross-functional teams and international business partners in different time zones

* Proven ability to lead, develop & grow teams

* Ability to thrive within a fast-paced startup environment and balance competing priorities, as well as a willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in to ensure successful execution
