Travel Retail, one of our highest growth channels, covers the world of duty-free, a nearly $90B USD market worldwide. As the global leader of the beauty category in duty free, the Estee Lauder Companies Travel Retail division is expanding into new channels while increasing the number of brands, products, and services we offer to travelers. The Director of Innovation and Marketing Operations (iHub), Travel Retail Worldwide (TRWW) will lead the development and execution of travel retail exclusives (TREX) for a cluster of brands within the Travel Retail division. As the name implies, these travel retail exclusives (TREX) represent truly differentiated offerings that cannot be found in any other channels that the company services. This position partners closely with multiple key functions, including our marketing, supply chain, packaging innovation and commercial teams in the field. In addition to her/his branded responsibilities, the Director of Innovation and Marketing Operations will also lead several key strategic projects, all in service of delivering our TREX as quickly, innovatively, and cost-effectively as possible.

**Responsibilities**

* Own the local TREX development process (ideation to execution) by partnering with TR Marketing, Global Brand Supply Chain (GBSC), Packaging, Creative, Global Supplier Relations (GSR), Inventory Control, and Third Party Manufacturing (TPM) planning to ensure on-time and in full delivery.

* Ensure locally developed TREX sets KPIs (COGs, speed to market, assembly costs, and sell-in) are being achieved on each brand.

* Partner with TRWW Marketing to develop TREX initiatives via the product/packaging design and development process (PPD) to implement initiatives that align with the global and regional brand direction.

* Attend and represent Travel Retail at cross functional project meetings to ensure TR requirements are being met on time.

* Lead and drive multi-dimensional projects to launch initiatives (e.g. late stage differentiation, TPM footprint optimizing, sustainability in packaging) designed to reduce operational costs, increase speed to market, and/or improve quality

* University degree

* 8+ years related experience

* Superior project management skills must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects across multiple brands in a fast-paced environment

* Experience in consumer-packaged goods a plus but not required

* Understanding of the commercial aspect of the business

* Knowledge of supply chain, production processes, and project planning skills preferred

* Understand the specifics of organizational processes and demonstrate initiative to improve and optimize

* Ability to build collaborative relationships across all different stakeholder groups (e.g., Marketing, Commercial Regions, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Packaging, Procurement)

* Strong analytical skills

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Fully capable of using MAC & PC software including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
