SUMMARY
Reporting to the Deposit Operations Manager, the Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible
for tasks in the daily operations and work flow of the following functions, as well as any other
tasks in support of the retail deposit area of the bank. The position will complete all duties in
compliance and all applicable laws and regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform

•Complete operational tasks related to the bank's ACH program, including annual risk
assessments and policy recommendations.
•Complete operational tasks related to the bank's compliance with Regulation E. Manage
customer disputes and fraud claims (including coordination with the FIS Fraud Call Center)
•Assist the deposit operations team in the bank's response to CAMS Alerts.
•Manage check encoding and adjustments as well as returned items.
•Complete and document the bank's response to interrogatories, garnishments, levies, and
subpoenas.
•Assist with current and future task demands of the bank's electronic document imaging
program as it relates to the deposit area.
•Provide support of year-end administrative functions related to deposits to include 1099
IRS reporting.
•Provide support with tasks related to the bank's compliance with escheatment laws for the
State of Indiana.
•Complete tasks in coordination with collections personnel in adherence to the bank's
policy and procedures related to deposit account collections.
•Complete tasks as directed by the Deposit Operations Manager and Compliance Officer
in support of the bank's BSA/OFAC program to include review of FinCen 314(a) List and
preparation of reports on internet banking/bill pay users. Also track and receive Currency
Transaction Reports from the branches; check for errors, maintain error tracking reports,
and forward to BSA Officer for filing.
•Verify change of address requests and returned mail.
•Set up account transfer maintenance and records in core system.
•Complete daily operational tasks related to the bank's online banking and bill pay
programs.

•Serves as a resource to all departments to solve operational problems.
•Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
