Our client is seeking an Inbound Logistics Coordinator to join their team.

Title: Inbound Logistics Coordinator
Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote
Pay: $55k-$65k - Based on experience
Employment Type: Permanent
Locations: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process inbound shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations
  • Receive shipment details and transportation documents from overseas factories; accurately and efficiently log shipment data in the company system
  • Generate Inbound Shipment Notifications for 3PL warehouse, including accurate and detailed uploads for 3PL WMS
  • Log shipment receipts and reconcile inventory
  • Execute the shipment routing process through the customer's Transportation Management System and ensure on-time and accurate input of shipment details
  • Track the status of shipments in relation to upcoming customer orders; manage late shipments and communicate with Production, Sales, and Shipping staff to resolve issues and account for transportation delays
  • Proactively manage a high-volume workload
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in inbound logistics, preferably dealing with large, corporate retail customers
  • High level of computer literacy: MS Outlook, Office; basic proficiency with Excel required
  • Excellent data-entry skills and accuracy
  • Excellent written communication skills; managing a high volume of emails is a critical function in this role
  • Experience with NetSuite is a major plus, but not required
  • Solid organizational and time management skills; self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
