Focus is an Equal Opportunity Employer Marketing experience desired and weekly travel required for this position.POSITION SUMMARY:Thisposition is responsible for coordinating all regional outreach, advertising,and networking functions related specifically to representation of the Focus residential,PHP, and IOP treatment programs in Chattanooga, TN. This positionincludes weekly travel across the Southeast region. This position isresponsible for developing a strong referral base, referral retention, andsustaining the admissions goals across all programs.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor'sDegree (or higher) in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Counseling, Nutrition,Mental Health, or an equivalent combination of experience, education andtraining that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Master'slevel degree is desirableMinimumof three (3) years' experience in healthcare marketing is desirableMust be an effective communicator and savvy in image and reputationmanagementKnowledge of core principles in substance use, behavioral health, and eating disordersParticipation and awareness of regional andnational professional association and community organizationsWorking knowledge of Sales Force software is desirablePERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:Responsibilityfor marketing the Focus programs in a way that efficiently meetsand exceeds admissions goalsCollaborativeparticipation with Director of Business Development in the generation andimplementation of monthly, seasonal, and annual strategic plans, includingtimely evaluation of measurable resultsDevelopand implement ways to keep the Focus name and brand top of awareness withindesignated referral areasMeetor exceed established goals for both quantity and quality of referrals. Mustsustain a minimum of 15-20 face-to-face referral contacts per week, with atleast half of that total as new contacts. Additional goals are expected to bemet for phone, email, and other forms of contact touchpointsInputall contacts, outreach activities, and relevant referral notes into Focus'contact database system by the end of each business day, with a maximum 7-day graceperiod for late entriesParticipatein scheduled meetings with the marketing team to support colleagues and toaccept duties as assigned by administrationCollaborativeparticipation with the marketing and clinical teams to ensure admissions, ADC,and other marketing goals are met by generating inquiries for all the Focus programsMaintaincollaborative relationships with internal Focus staff to deeply understand thechallenges and opportunities faced by the organization, including but notlimited to clinical integrity, branding, image management, and reputationmanagementEnsure all administrative duties are complete,timely and documented, including managing the assigned budget, activities, performance,and communicationRemain current on behavioral healthcare industrydevelopments and assigned state regulationsWork closely with administration to ensure thatinternal dynamics are congruent and consistent with external branding, imagemanagement, and reputation managementThisposition will be expected to provide support for the admissions team asneeded including but not limited to calling healthcare providers and otherfacilities concerning referralsOther duties as assigned byadministrationADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Acceptresponsibility for professional growth and developmentAdhereto facility, department, corporate, personnel and standard policies andproceduresAttendall mandatory facility in-services and staff development activities asscheduledAdhereto facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance, and punctualitySupportfacility-wide performance improvement goals and objectivesMaintainconfidentiality of facility employees and patientsWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Traveloutside the facility for community outreach and public relations/marketingactivitiesTheposition involves some direct and indirect patient contactShouldbe able to tolerate gradient levels of standing, walking, stooping, and lifting30 lbsHasthe ability to adjust to increased workloadsATTENDANCE/PUNCTUALITY EXPECTATIONS:Isreliable in punctuality and attendance, adhering to facility and departmentalpoliciesDoesnot demonstrate inappropriate use of benefitsAdheresto policy and time allotted for breaks and meals and returns to work atdesignated timesDoesnot experience absences which adversely affect the ability of the department tosatisfactorily perform essential job functions
