PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will oversee and manage all Accounting and Finance functions for the Luxfer Magtech Business Unit. The Finance Director reports directly to the VP/GM and is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

All aspects of financial reporting, including monthly results, quarterly results, and annual submissions for an SEC listed company Preparation of annual budget and 3-year strategy plan that supports the Division’s growth Responsible for updating financial forecast monthly and analyzing variances Analytical support for decision-making across the company Adherence to standard operating procedures associated with 100% SOX compliance Providing timely, relevant, and accurate analysis of business performance, against budget, forecast and prior years; and maintaining standard operating procedures for the above Assumes responsibility for maintaining accurate inventory and standard costing Key member of the ERP steering committee Point of contact for all audit work – Financial, SOX, Government contracts, etc. Liaison with banks, insurers, health providers, workers comp insurers, 401k providers and other external agents. Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value Respond to Corporate as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate their financial needs Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports Manage the accounting department and provide ongoing training and development

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; MBA preferred 5 years of experience managing a Finance/accounting team Industrial Manufacturing accounting required Cost accounting in a manufacturing setting required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel SOX Compliance experience preferred SAP experience preferred Essential success attributes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Knowledgeable about economic and accounting principles Attention to detail Adherence to health and safety regulations Teamwork and communication skills

Ability to travel up to 25%
