This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Director of Finance at McGrath North. The Assistant Director of Finance will be responsible for bank account oversight, accounts receivable management, will assist with payroll and profit-sharing reporting, Federal and State tax filings, month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial reporting, and other finance-related tasks to support the firm's operations and client services.  Please review the following Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
•    Demonstrated understanding of billing/accounting system software. Working knowledge of legal industry software such as SurePoint (LMS) is a plus.
•    Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management that includes supervisory responsibilities; preferably in a law firm or other professional services client-oriented organization.
•    A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.
•    Strong technical financial management knowledge with meticulous attention to detail.
•    Proven expertise with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reports.
•    Comfortable and skillful with hands-on approach in situations where tasks and analyses cannot be delegated.
•    Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. 
•    Ability to work well, individually and in teams, with a diverse group of people.
