This position will have functional authority within their designated pillar of the business control area: APL, US Export and G&A Cost. Essential Duties / Responsibilities: forecasting and strategic planning. Provides insightful analysis of financial results and key performance indicators to support decision making Evaluate the financial performance of business units and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with operational teams to understand business drivers and ensure alignment with financial goals. Develop and implement cost control measures, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings. Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenses. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Develop financial models to support forecasting and scenario analysis. Assist in the preparation of financial projections and long-term strategic plans. Miscellaneous related duties or projects as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Strong written language skills Confident presentation of self for in-person meetings and negotiations Require proficiency of Excel for creation and manipulation of Excel spreadsheets including formulas and pivot tables. Require working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint software for creation of documents. Require self-driven individual who can work unsupervised for extended periods of time. Must have ability to shift quickly from topic to topic and prioritize work based on deadlines and level of urgency. Experience in cost management and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) Must be able to investigate and analyze an issue to determine correct course of action Must be able to set priority of work on daily, weekly and monthly basis Staff management experience required Negotiation experience required Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master's Degree preferred. 1 years of industry experience required. 3 years of general experience required.
