The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement to delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in supply chain management, particularly within the industrial machinery manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. Oversee the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and strong supplier relationships. Manage inventory levels to balance customer demand and minimize costs. Optimize logistics and distribution networks to ensure timely delivery of products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and sales, to streamline operations. Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the industrial machinery manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Proven ability to develop and implement successful supply chain strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
