Position Purpose:
Work closely with Logistics Execution, Transportation, Planning, and Business Intelligence to create, manage, deliver, and standardize functional training, maintain/create standard operating processes, implement best practices. Supporting the regions when needed, while reinforcing training and development. Provide coverage in regions across the floor as needed.
Scope:
- Lead all aspects of Supply Chain training and development
- Successful delivery of multiple strategic supply chain initiatives
- Business process strategy, design and change management
- Demonstrated success managing across multiple organizations, regions, and functional areas
- Strong communication skills and ability to drive to decision

Major/Key Accountabilities:
Process & Cost Control: Work cross-functionally on identifying process improvements:
- Create policies or procedures for Customer Logistics activities.
- Create/maintain metrics, reports, and process documentation
- Monitor key performance indicators
- Oversee day to day performance and quality of Customer Logistics Team
Training Development: Create, Maintain, enhance, deliver, and standardize the current program for Logistics.
- Oversee and deliver new hire training.
- Enhance and deliver updated training curriculum
- Create refresher training throughout the year
Employee Relations: Maintain an environment where Employees trust and respect the leadership and work as a team to accomplish objectives.
- Educates the Team about CHEP Pooled Supply Chain business areas strategies / plans

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field preferred
- 2 years’ experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain

Base pay starting at $70,000/annual
Salary ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications, geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Therefore, actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be part of a total offering beyond medical & retirement benefits and may include other monetary incentives or business benefits.
