The company's premiere annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the world's largest dance music festival and attracts more than 525,000 fans over three days. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993. THE ROLE Insomniac is looking for a Seasonal HR Coordinator to support the Production HR team with sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding event-based teams. This position will report to the Production HR Generalist. RESPONSIBILITIES + Source, screen, interview and recommend candidates for open roles + Provide optimal experience for every candidate from application stage to onboarding candidate of choice + Ensure a smooth recruiting process by using communication skills to manage expectations and provide process updates to hiring team + Process new hires through HRIS system and assist in new hire onboarding + Complete the I9 verification requirements for new hires + Coordinate the completion of background checks + Assist HR team and employees on-site with general onboarding and payroll inquiries + Required to work onsite in Las Vegas in November 2024 + Other special projects and tasks as assigned as needed QUALIFICATIONS + Degree in Human Resource Management, or related experience + 2+ years of experience in event-based HR and recruiting + Basic experience with employment law + Excellent computer skills, knowledge of HRIS, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Airtable WORK ENVIRONMENT + Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (chairs, tables, etc.) + May work in drastic temperature climates + Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa. Hiring Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 USD Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the California Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements Law. It is estimated based on what a successful California applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in California or perform the position from California. Similar positions located outside of California will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
