Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include executing LOB or ECF processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include supporting the implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation, and building out actions plans and milestones.

The Retail, Preferred and Small Business Complaints Team is seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join our team as a Reporting and Monitoring Manager.

The individual will assist in the development, distribution and review of elevated issues related to compliance with Consumer laws, rules and regulations via scorecards. The Associate will analyze potentially non compliant issues and engage with the Front Line Unit to remediate. The candidate will develop Executive/Committee/Regulatory aggerate reporting and metrics to understand the volumes, thresholds and risk associated with non compliance to laws, rules and regulations

The individual must serve as a liaison with the project management office to develop and standardize the reporting and tools needed to provide reporting. They will execute monthly reporting and work with each Front Line Unit to discuss and identify potential non compliance with laws, rules and regulations. They will act as the engagement manager and support each front line unit to remediate non-compliance issues and periodically assess the reporting as well as provide qualitative information to support reporting. They will ensure reporting demonstrates adherence to the Enterprise Compliant policy/standard and act as an ambassador of the risk culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
  • Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation
  • Leads the implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts
  • Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews
  • Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting
  • Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews
  • Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting
Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum education level of a bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years related work experience
  • Incumbent typically have 8+ years' of risk management and/or LOB experience.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate potential risks and appropriately identify and engage key partners for discussion, escalation and resolution. Strong research, analysis and fact-based decision making. Expected to look beyond the issue at hand and raise questions.
  • Self-motivated and strong ability to work autonomously; Ability to grasp new concepts in short timeframes
  • Must be able to adapt to a fast paced/changing environment; flexible to balance multiple needs and competing priorities; and comfortable working with ambiguity
