Flooring/Interior Construction Superintendent

Job Description Job Summary: The Superintendent with Estimating experience will play a crucial role in managing on-site operations while also contributing to project estimation. This dual role requires a blend of hands-on supervision and technical expertise in estimating, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily on-site operations, including managing subcontractors, scheduling, and quality control. Collaborate with project managers and estimators to provide accurate project estimates, including materials, labor, and timelines. Ensure all interior construction projects, including flooring, are executed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards. Review project documents and specifications to develop detailed and accurate estimates. Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to keep projects on track. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is performed to the highest quality and in compliance with company standards. Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met. Coordinate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes. Mentor and lead on-site teams, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or superintendent role. Strong estimating experience, with a proven track record of accurately forecasting project costs and timelines. Excellent understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques related to interior construction. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively. Proficiency in estimating software, project management tools, and other relevant construction technologies. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
