Key Responsibilities of the Superintendent:

  • Lead and manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Oversee all stages of construction projects from initial planning to final completion, whether for public works or private commercial endeavors across various sectors.
  • Administer safety programs and ensure site safety compliance.
  • Represent customer service interests and manage quality control programs.
We are looking for Superintendents who are experts in general construction methodologies, adept at problem-solving, and possess in-depth technical knowledge of various construction facets (including concrete, masonry, metals, wood & plastics, moisture proofing, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, conveying systems, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communication, security, earthwork, exterior improvements, utilities, demolition, etc.).

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building and construction management

- OSHA Site Safety experience

- Proficient with modern technology and possess excellent communication skills

- Demonstrated technical knowledge of construction processes and an understanding of all job facets (including concrete, masonry, metals, wood & plastics, moisture proofing, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, conveying systems, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communication, security, earthwork, exterior improvements, utilities, transportation, waterway & marine construction, wastewater, demolition, etc.)

- General knowledge of construction principles and practices is essential.

- Strong work ethic and a desire to collaborate within a team environment to foster company growth.

- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 9+ years of experience in building and construction management

- Associate's/Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in commercial projects, hospitals, public projects, schools, multifamily, etc.

- Estimating experience is a plus

- Familiarity with project management processes and software (Microsoft Office and SAGE 300 CRE)

- OSHA 30 Hour Training

- LEED Project Experience

- Proven experience in multi-story construction.
