- Reconcile accounts as assigned
- Calculate accrued expenses for month end recording
- Prepare Accrual Journal Entries
- Review journal entries for appropriateness/adherence to GAAP
- Approve journal entries
- Banking / Cash -
- Prepare daily or weekly deposits,
- Verify bank receipts,
- Reconcile cash receipts to cash journal posting,
- Approve cash journals
- Maintain check registers,
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations,
- Conduct petty cash audits
- Review and approve bank reconciliations
- Utilization Reporting -
- Prepare monthly fee for service utilization reports,
- Prepare monthly grant utilization reports,
- Prepare other reports as requested,
- Reconcile reports to revenue accounts
- Review, analyze and identify trends or problems relevant to utilization reports
- Identify opportunities for performance or process improvements in finance or at the program level
- Provide feedback to clinical teams
- File reports as required with funders
- Schedules and Reports -
- Prepare reconciliation schedules,
- Prepare other schedules as requested,
- Prepare and distribute internal financial statements
- Review, analyze and identify trends or problems relevant to schedules and reports
- Identify opportunities for performance or process improvements in finance or at the program level
- Provide feedback to clinical teams
- File reports as required with funders
- Annual Audit
- Prepare audit schedules as assigned
- Review and approve schedules
- Project Management
- Lead or participate in projects as needed
- New business lines
- Implementation of new technology
- Training on new procedures
- Provide backup support for Controller and Staff Accountants as needed
- Serve as a member of the Finance team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
- Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Ethics and with the framework of the law.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance
- Assume other related responsibilities as delegated and assigned.
- Shift: 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Monday through Friday
- Hybrid schedule available after training period
