  1. Performs general clerical duties in the human resources area such as employment, benefits, policies, payroll, and safety.
  2. Sets up and maintains division/plant personnel files and records which may contain confidential employment and benefit information.
  3. Processes all personnel and employment paperwork and forwards to Corporate Office.
  4. May assist manager and/or supervisor in employee relations, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, attendance records, etc.
  5. Obtain temporary employees through local agencies as requested by manager.
  6. Utilizes personal computer in conjunction with Payroll/HRIS and production.
  7. Balances production hours with payroll hours weekly.
  8. May assist manager in abiding by all FLSA standards and regulations.
  9. Organizes and maintains attendance records, safety/accident records, vacation records, etc.
  10. May perform preliminary applicant screening, referencing checking, pre-employment testing, etc.
  11. Coordinates with Corporate Human Resources in implementing essential policies and procedures.
  12. May perform other duties as needed.
  13. May participate on project teams as requested.
