Position Summary:We are looking for a Quality Manager. This position manages all aspects of the Division's Quality Management System for successful, annual recertification and ensures the continual improvement of its processes, procedures, work instructions and forms.Responsibilities:Ensure ISO 9001 level quality program is operating throughout the DivisionEnsure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirementsRemove obstacles impacting quality of product and systemsConduct internal audits on products, processes, procedures and report resultsIdentify and investigating customer complaintsDrive a continuous improvement cultureMeasure and report KPI'sTrack Division non-conformances and provide reporting, using the 8D MethodMeasures and reviews quality trends based on collected quantitative data and interactions with quality control inspectors and operations personnelDevelop, motivate, mentor, and coach employees throughout the DivisionWork with national Quality Team members to provide continual improvementsWorks with all levels of the Division to meet performance goalsContribute data and reports for Management MeetingPerforms other duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesDealing with ambiguity, Decision quality & timely decisions, Action oriented & time management, Comfort around higher management, Conflict management, Customer focus, Integrity and trust, Intellectual horsepower, Interpersonal Savvy, Managing and measuring work, Motivating others, Perseverance & perspective, Setting priorities & problem solving, Process management, TQM, Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, Self-developmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsSuperior management and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and focused in challenging situations.Education and ExperienceISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Certified, preferredISO 9001 Internal Auditor, requiredQuality Engineer or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferredExperience implementing and continuously improving a multi-site QMSStrong Continuous Improvement background (Lean, Six Sigma, TOC)Work EnvironmentMust be able to sit at a desk or stand for prolonged periods of timeIn office, in shop, between offices in region and at vendor locationsMust be able to traverse the production facilityMust be able to lift 50 lbs.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a permanent, full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.What we offer:We offer competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Health InsuranceFSA & HSA options for healthcareCritical Illness, Accidental, and Hospital Indemnity PlansDentalVisionSTD & LTDBasic & Voluntary Life AD&D4% Matching 401KPTOCompany provided PPEEmployee Referral Bonus: $2000American Equipment Holdings is an organization of leading overhead crane and hoist, industrial weighing, and below-the-hook service providers in the United States.
