**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- All tasks and duties related to quality control and microbiology testing within organization.
- Check daily duty on Production Monitor in Processing area.
- Follow SOP and cGMP at all times.
- PPE Protocol to be followed by gowning, bouffant, respiratory facemask, gloves and protective eyewear
- Monitors and evaluates current testing processes, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.
- Enforces regulatory compliance.
- Conducts visual and physical inspections of company products and materials.
- Monitors the performance of the quality control department to meet organizational objectives.
- Prepare culture media for microbiological testing purposes.
- Serial Dilution and MPN process experience
- Autoclave steam terminal sterilization
- Verification of process analysis
- Participate as part of a team in completion of a variety of routine and non-routine tasks including writing investigation reports, deviations, protocols, updating procedures and other related documentation.
- Environmental Monitoring to determine microbial content of raw materials, in-process, cleanrooms, and finished products
- Assure that all materials used and/or products produced/used meet the microbiological requirements of Regulatory Agencies.
- Perform Sample analysis of Peptones and growth promotion Raw Materials for background testing.
- Authorized to make recommended procured purchases through qualified suppliers
- Manage efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments
- Develop, revise when applicable, and execute standard operating procedures for Quality Control purposes
- Determine and implement improvements to the quality process
- Evaluates results and recommends corrective actions when required.
- Participate in evaluating audit reports including but not limited to, paper audits, physical audits.
- Collaborate with HR/Admin to ensure training and skill levels are adequate For the QC Department
- Correspond with customers and suppliers
- Non-conformance Investigations where QC is implicated
- Verifies and supports documentation/reports, including data
- Maintain records of all tests performed and methods used
- Maintain laboratory equipment service and calibrations of equipment in the QC Dept.
- Maintain a clean and organized workflow by monitoring steps of the process
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Show ownership to maintain an effective Quality Management System in accordance with ISO9001:2015 standards.
- Maintain high Quality of Work

**Required Skills/Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; AA in combination with experience required.
- Ability to work schedule as needed.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Formal education in Microbiology
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of microbiological test procedures
- Ability to develop and improve laboratory procedures
- Strong leader with solid work ethic in successfully completing tasks by being dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success
- Demonstrated problem solving skill with ability to identify root causes and implement corrective action.
- Logical, structured thinker who critically assesses his/her own performance
- Eager to meet challenges and quickly assimilate new concepts
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity of quality systems and standards (ISO)
- Ability to communicate with management, clients, and vendors

**Optional Skills/Qualifications**:

- Knowledge in areas such as Microbiology method validation/lab equipment requalification.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
