Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary: Quality Control Inspector monitors, tests and inspects all processes involved in the production of a product and product itself. To ensure the quality standards are met by every component of the product or service provided by APT.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ability to interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
  2. Monitor the development of all products manufactured by the company.
  3. Responsible for acquiring the quality in the product and services of APT.
  4. QC inspector monitors every process involved in the production of a product.
  5. It is also the responsibility of QC inspector to ensure the quality of purchased goods as well as finished goods.
  6. Recommend the reprocessing of the low quality products.
  7. Responsible for the documentation of inspection and tests conducted on products of a company.
  8. QC inspector should ensure the product of a company meet quality standards.
  9. Maintain the checklist of inspection processes and protocols used within APT.
  10. Identify the problems and issues regarding quality of the products and also has to make recommendation to appropriate management.
  11. Ability to identify electronic components.
  12. Responsibility and authority to:  Identify problems, recommend solutions and withhold items that do not meet quality standards.

Physical requirements
  1. Ability to lift 25 lbs.
 Education/Experience:
  1. High School Diploma.
  2. IPC 610 and/or J-STD-001 certified.
  3. Proficient in in-process and final inspection.
  4. Possess skills of the professional documentation for the process of quality assurance.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Basic understanding of the International Standard.
  7. Minimum (2) two years in an electronic manufacturing environment as an inspector or operator.
