**Overall Responsibility** :
The Application Support Specialist is the subject matter expert for internal applications; responsible for maintaining and deploying internal tools, developing system use best practices and training staff to enhance the customer experience, improve security and efficiency.
**Successful candidates should possess the following characteristics:**
* Demonstrated leadership in resolving customer PC problems
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to maintain a positive attitude and positive working relationship with all customers and departments to optimize working relationships and communication.
* Maintain current technical expertise in the rapidly changing technology of computing and utilizes state-of-the-art techniques when implementing solutions.
**Key Accountabilities** :
**Central Network Administration***Performance Standards*
* Maintain security patches and updates for internal applications, tools, integrations, and plugins according to Solution Builders standards.
* Configure new application features as they are released.
* Deployment and removal of Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) agents on client endpoints.
* Prevent issues and eliminate user requests through automation, scripting & monitoring.
* Administer Centralized managed patching.
* Provide training and expertise on internal applications and tools to other Solution Builders staff members.
* Provide training to clients on public facing tools and support procedures.
* Manage user accounts for internal applications.
* Point of contact for resolving application issues and reporting bugs.
* Document application procedures and configurations in Solution Builders knowledge management system.
* Document all system add/change/moves (ACM) according to Solution Builders change management standards.
* Document all support issues, resolutions and time in the company approved ticketing system as they occur according to Solution Builders standards.
* Maintain internal application expertise through formal training, vendor documentation and community forums.
* Maintain licensing compliance for internal applications.
**Resolve Technical Issues***Performance Standards*
* Assist the reactive support team in resolving service requests including workstations, Windows, Microsoft Office, printers and vendor-specific hardware and software.
* Escalate issues within the support team as per company guidelines.
* Communicate with clients as required

keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
**Position Requirements** :
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 2-5 years of ConnectWise suite experience required
* BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, business communications or related field is preferred
* 2-5 years of Windows Server administration experience
* A+ Certification or equivalent experience
* Microsoft Windows Certification or equivalent experience
