Job Description

Our Fortune 100 financial services client is seeking a Mid-Market Commercialization Consultant to serve as a seasoned sales professional with deep experience in mid-market commercial and virtual card sales. The individual will be responsible for championing commercial and virtual card products within a global bank's North America sales team.

The commercial banking team has historically focused on selling products such as Treasury, ACH, and FX, and they are now shifting to commercial and virtual card sales. The Mid-Market Commercialization Consultant will work to achieve sales growth targets by focusing on commercial and virtual card sales.

What you'll do:
  • Galvanize and influence the North America commercial banking sales team of a global bank to sell commercial and virtual card products to the existing client book. Influence the commercial banking team to prioritize commercial and virtual card products over other solutions.
  • Educate teams regarding the value proposition; key client stakeholders; use cases; opportunity identification; competitive positioning; and other dimensions of commercial and virtual cards.
  • Update or develop sales collateral, case studies, and "stories" to translate benefits into a sale.
  • Participate in commercial and virtual card sales meetings led by the commercial banking teams. Provide pre-session coaching and post-session feedback to drive success.
  • Monitor the sales funnel from prospect to close and create metrics to improve performance. Provide management with revenue reporting, goal achievement, etc.
  • Leverage prior experience in the mid-market segment and commercial and virtual cards to enable the organization to achieve an aggressive growth target.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of middle market commercial and virtual card sales experience.
  • 3+ years of experience coaching mid-market sales teams to exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sales training experience.
  • Expertise with a consultative selling model.
  • Strong ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions.


Additional Information

This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

The pay range for this role is $50-55 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
