Our Financial Audit Coordinator conducts audits to various departments within our organization. Researches identified issues thoroughly and makes recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Works with outside auditors to help reconcile discrepancies or support the external auditing function.
  • Be responsible for collecting and tracking all certification memos in the inventory database.
  • Perform monthly quality assurance checks of all data as reflected in the automated inventory system.
  • Review and receive copies of all requisition documents, maintaining a property/cost tracking spreadsheet for audit trail purposes.
Requirements

Requirements:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree or accounting
  • Able to classify an item for property management purposes, as well as how to account for it financially according to federal accounting standards.
  • Experience Auditing Financial Statements of Federal Government
  • Experience with Federal or Commercial Cost Management, Managerial Accounting, and/or Financial Management
