Description

You are an expert facilitator: you open doors, foster communication, and bridge the gap.

In this role, you will manage daily activities that support appropriate patient reimbursement for products in provider offices. You will also serve as a liaison to other patient assistance and reimbursement support services. You will:
  • Provide live one-on-one support to address questions about coverage requirements
  • Offer assistance from prescriber decision to access, supporting the entire reimbursement journey through payer prior authorization to appeals/denials requirements, procedures and forms
  • Review patient-specific information in cases where the site has specifically requested assistance and patient health information is available in resolving any issues or coverage challenges
  • Educate physician office staff on the use of the patient assistance programs and call-center support services, including web-based provider programs
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience
  • 2+ years' relevant experience in the following: patient journey navigation, payer, reimbursement, medical billings & coding, specialty pharmacy & distribution, and patient support services engagement
  • Buy and bill experience
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of Patient Enrollment Forms; Prior Authorization process; Appeals; Peer to Peer interventions; coding, coverage, and payment across all sites of care (e.g., offices, clinics, hospital)
  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.
Desired Requirements:
  • Experience with Neurology and infused products
  • Experience with IDNs, Health Systems and Infusion Centers

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $175,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
