Full-Time Experience

: 0-3 year of experience RIVA Solutions is seeking a junior resource to join the Marketing and Communications department to support broad marketing, internal communications, and event needs including managing RIVA’s conference center and office in Tysons Corner, VA.

This individual must be people oriented and highly organized with impeccable attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to own and execute projects with limited oversight. This position has excellent growth potential and is ideal for a motivated and driven junior individual looking to make an impact. Due to the nature of events, this individual must be in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area, preferably within an hour of Tysons Corner, VA. Approximately 75% time may be spent remote/teleworking coupled with regular, weekly in-office responsibilities. This role does require occasional in-person night and weekend hours. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Key Responsibilities: Marketing and Communications: Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media Support the development of marketing materials, such as marketing slicks, case studies, email newsletters, and thought leadership Track and report on marketing campaign performance Maintain and update project plans and task management software (Monday.com, Planner, etc.) Event Coordination:

Have a passion for people and building relationships Plan, schedule, and coordinate large- and small-scale events and meetings Effectively communicate with high-level execs, staff, location coordinators, and vendors Act as liaison to building management, event staff, and other vendors as necessary for events and/or meetings Create budgets, BEOs, and review vendor contract agreements Promote attendance and maintain guest lists Day-of event logistics and management, including setup and breakdown Swag and collateral management and distribution Create and maintain events and communications calendars Office Management:

Serve as primary point of contact and coordinator for RIVA HQ including helping with events, meetings, managing flex space, and scheduling Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed Maintain office equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary Regularly send and receive mail and packages Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communications skills. Extremely detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and a great attitude. Ability to self-manage and complete projects solo or as part of a small team. Experience planning and managing virtual and hybrid formats, including AV and digital requirements on Microsoft Teams or similar platforms. Establish and maintain relationships Creative thinker able to execute on ideas Demonstrates accountability and professionalism and can represent RIVA positively in the industry and as an internal ambassador Salary Range:
