Overview

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team for a 10-week contract. In this role, you will provide essential administrative, instructional design, and program management support to our Learning and Development department.

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. If you are passionate about learning and development andpossessthe necessary skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply.

About Center of Excellence:

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provideexpertisein a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case ofHealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions andallowsthe enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.

Your impact :

Administrative Support
  • Assistin scheduling training sessions, workshops, and other learning activities.

  • Maintain training records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Coordinatelogisticsfor training events, includingscheduling invites, materials preparation, and participant communication.

  • Respond to inquiries from employeesregardingtraining programs and resources.


Instructional Design Support
  • Design and develop training materials,guides, toolkits, quick reference guides,presentations, manuals, and online modules.

  • Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

  • Assistin reviewing and updating existing training content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

  • Conduct research on best practices in learning and development to inform content development.


Program Management Support
  • Support the implementation and execution of learning programs and initiatives.

  • Assistin tracking program metrics and generating reports to evaluate program effectiveness.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of learningobjectiveswith organizational goals.


What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in administrative support, preferably in a learning and development or HR environment.

  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and techniquesand course authoring tools including Articulate Rise.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
