Hours
- Day shift 1.0 FTE (40 hours/ week)

The Contracting Administrator works on a collaborative team and works closely with different departments.

**HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS ROLE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)**

The Contracting Administrator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the contracting process for patient related, purchasing, and other provider/vendor relationship contracts. This position also has audit and operational responsibilities related to agency contracts.
- Contract Administration
- Initiate, review, or terminate contracts by using the approved templates and following established policies and procedures. Examples of contracts include, but not limited to Traveling patient, Facility, Hospital, Therapy, BAA.
- Follow up on outstanding contract issues by working collaboratively with the Director of Finance and the potential provider/vendor/facility.
- Obtain signatures or other related information necessary to implement a contract.
- Maintain complete provider and vendor files including correspondence, contracts and other related electronic documents
- Perform ongoing review of contracts according to established guidelines and/or initiates the review by other cost center managers as directed
- Assist with development, modification, and adherence of contracting standards, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate reimbursement adjustments to/from providers/vendors and collaborates with Agrace’s internal staffs, e.g. Billing, Enrollment, Admissions, etc. to ensure correct contract terms are maintained within the billing and payment systems.
- Understand, interpret, and communicate contract terms and provisions to vendors, providers and internal staff.
- Track and report all contracting efforts and provide recurring status updates.
- Build and maintain contracting relationships to ensure favorable terms for Agrace.
- Auditing and Reporting
- Make recommendations for contracting system improvements to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Update, maintain and audit the contract management database.
- Develop reports
- Respond timely to internal and external audit and prospective group inquiries.
- Other Duties
- Participate in internal work groups, meetings and committees relative to position responsibilities.
- Make recommendations for process improvement to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:

- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 3 years of administrative office and/or customer service experience, required
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Ability to complete detailed work with high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems or navigate solutions
- Ability to think creatively and improve processes
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
- Experience using contract management software
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to be flexible in time and task to meet organizational needs
- Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients, families, caregivers, staff, donors, and organizational intellectual property.
- Ability to use proper body mechanics and standard precautions
