Wild Waves Theme & Water Park is looking for a creative and passionate individual that can be our Brand Voice of FUN. The right candidate will have a passion for social media and digital communications and is outgoing and work well in an accelerated work environment. This person will be responsible for the strategy and execution of both internal and external communications and supports the Marketing Manager by coordinating, implementing, and activating various promotional events at the park. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop your marketing skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Passion for social media and digital communications. Thorough understanding of the social media space and those who engage with it – must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge base of social media platforms. Create, write and publish timely content that positively reflects the Wild Waves Theme & Water Park brand and messaging standards. Actively respond to post comments, reviews, shares, mentions, messages, etc. on a daily basis. Manage, monitor, and grow organic social media channels across all platforms. Create, publish, and manage newsletter and eblasts. Monitor and report campaign performance. Responsible for documenting all Park events via photography, video, and social media tools. Assist the Marketing Manager with all other aspects of promotions, including season pass and in-park marketing. Actively promote marketing campaigns across all social media platforms, including newsletters and eBlasts. Partner with Marketing Manager for timely creation, printing, and installation of park printed materials. Must be willing to work in-person on property. This is not a remote or hybrid position. SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills required. 1-2 years in a marketing or social media position or internship, or actively enrolled in a college marketing program. Maintain a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of park, division, and department information as required by the company. Creative, proactive and an enthusiastic team player with a positive and self-starter attitude. The ability to work independently, and also as part of a team. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and follow guidelines. Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with guests, co-workers and management. Ability to provide friendly, helpful and cautious service to guests. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays during the operating season. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows with main attention to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Stay current with the latest social media best practices and techniques. Must demonstrate an outgoing personality and professional appearance. Must be at least 18 years of age. Graphic Design experience preferred. Experience working with Adobe PS, AI, ID, PS design programs preferred. Experience working with Canva, and Constant Contact preferred. Photograph and video editing experience preferred. Experience in the amusement park/entertainment/event/hospitality industry preferred. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Guest Service:
