What role you will play in our team The Marketing Advisor provides marcom and project management expertise in support of integrated marketing campaigns on a global scale. This role will evaluate marketing opportunities using digital capabilities and channels that align with business line objectives and customer experience strategies. It will also develop and implement processes, KPIs, and best practices in digital marketing; work collaboratively across business lines, sales, product development and other functions to improve customer awareness and consideration through all marketing channels. This is an office-based position located at the ExxonMobil Campus in Spring, Texas. What you will do Brand Management: Understand brand strategy and promote campaigns in support of the strategy, driving growth in brand equity and enabling ExxonMobil to compete to win. Support the Company and Low Carbon Solutions to manage development and communication of its brand. Marcom: Accountable for the planning and successful delivery of integrated global campaigns that result in customer awareness and engagement through digital and traditional channels. Drives the integrated marketing communication plans that support purchasing funnel conversion and other KPIs. Working knowledge of marketing channels, including social media, websites, paid media, trade shows/conferences, webinars, SEO/SEM, email marketing, online literature/fact sheets/speeches, press releases. Ability to prepare and plan a project brief with clear goals and deliverables. Collaborate across multiple functions including marketing, sales, customer service, EMIT, P&GA, etc. as needed to define and deliver relevant customer experiences for web, mobile and social. Ability to effectively manage agencies and other third parties. Ability to create compelling content in support of key messages. Maintain a pipeline of projects that focus on linking business strategies to the desired digital customer experiences. Prioritize digital initiatives and drive awareness and consideration of Low Carbon Solutions offerings. Understanding of KPIs of digital channels and ability to measure and adjust campaign activities. Provide guidance and develop best practices on digital marketing including paid media, search marketing, web design and optimization, social media, video marketing, email marketing, etc. Regularly assess performance of LOB digital initiatives and offer recommendations for improvement. Project Management: Ability to outline and develop an end-to-end campaign plan, understand project stages and interdependencies, meet schedule and budget requirements, generate increase in customer engagement. Ability to manage approvals for release of company information from Law, P&GA and senior leadership. About You Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field. Strong Marketing Communications experience (7+ years), including understanding of customer journey and B2B marketing. Ability to analyze channel, content and campaign data in order to achieve optimal engagement and performance. Effective written and oral communications; fluent in written and oral English. Ability to persuade and motivate others inside the organization, including marketing, technical and sales personnel; strong interpersonal skills and professional credibility a must. Well-organized, efficient and able to manage and steward multiple projects simultaneously. Experience developing comprehensive communications plans, including budget recommendations and stewardship. Experience working with subject matter experts (engineers for example) and translating highly technical content into communications materials. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Master's degree in business, Marketing or similar. Global marketing experience, or other large-scale national marketing experience.
